About

Dr. Elvia Canseco is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in advanced cataract and refractive surgery, complex anterior segment procedures, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. With a precise and patient-centered approach, she is dedicated to delivering high-quality outcomes using the latest in ophthalmic technology.

Born in Mexico City and raised in the southern state of Chiapas, Dr. Canseco moved to Houston to pursue higher education. She graduated cum laude from Rice University with a degree in Biology, then earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
